At OMAHKU, we have assisted various students, visiting artists and groups plan their trip, which includes organising art walks, studio, gallery and museum visits, workshops to learn or refresh skills and learn from the local artists, translation services and assistance, co-ordinate exhitbition and trips outside Yogyakarta to cultural sites.

Your hosts at OMAHKU are interested in learning and sharing our skills in their daily art practice.
They are still on a long artistic journey in learning and improving skills they have acquired and can offer the following : Metal Welding, Sculpting & Casting (Silicone, Resin, Aluminium), Book Binding, Printmaking (Silkscreen, Intaglio, Relief). Other interests include fruit fermentation and culinary. If your hosts are unable to mentor or facilitate a skill that you require, they will link you up to suitable mentors. Your hosts have prepared a list of mentorship programmes including 3 day guidance with sculpture, printmaking, batik & etc. and services, please write to [email protected] to request for quotations. |
Past projects for Art production and Art Handling include:
- Commissioned work by Indonesian artists namely Eko Nugroho, Eddi Prabandono, and the late S Tedy D. - Stage Design, Props and Set Design, Costume Design for Esplanade and Nanyang Girls' High School, Singapore - Art handling and installation, such as packing for artists namely the late Yustoni Volunteero (ID), restoration of Salvador Dali's bronze sculpture at Art Stage Singapore 2013 - Artist studio set up for Zai Kuning (SG), Restu Ratnaningtyas (ID) - Customized artist book binding, textile screen-printing. - Furniture for Happy Hearts Foundation and other wood work |
