"Parallel World" is a reflection of Singapore balancing Urbanisation & keeping this Island State Green.The image was taken during one of my usual evening stroll around my neighbourhood. The location was the pavement, Field & Hard-court opposite the Community Club. Other than sporting activities, the Hard-court used to be a community space which many grass-root events were held. Now that area is being used for a new housing project. Part of the Field is also affected. Basically it is a photo which i only given it slight colour treatment. The visual was created with the intent for viewers to get close & intimate - to get nearer & explore. I am interested in looking for unusual angles of things familiar to us - such as the area around us. We might miss out a lot of things because we are too comfortable with our surrounding & stop exploring.
