Filmed by Chris Yeo Edited by Paul Prado © 2015, Lina Adam and the Institute of Contemporary Arts Singapore Performance art can be challenging to document and is often poorly remembered. In this performance, Lina Adam re-imagined the culinary history of Singapore performance art over more than 20 years. She served a 10-course degustation menu accompanied by PowerPoint slides, having selected her ingredients via word-of-mouth descriptions, her own recollections, online research, collections of catalogues, books and photographic accounts. 'The culinary history of Singapore performance art re-presented' was presented as part of: 'Modern Love: LASALLE thirtieth anniversary exhibition' 6 November 2014 − 4 February 2015 Institute of Contemporary Arts Singapore LASALLE College of the Arts

'I remember, I forget' photo by Sean 'I remember, I forget' by Lina Adam was featured in a performance art event, 'Making Space, Body As Woman' in November last year. Intimate personal experiences were presented metaphorically with significant items (like the iconic teddy in a plate), in a dinner setting, in candlelight. Taking you back in time once more, Lina Adam will revisit food items that have been used by local performance artists in a line up tomorrow evening in 'Experience the Culinary History of Singapore Performance Art'. What else is going to be served? Is it going to be presented in a bento set or a buffet made before your eyes? Will there be helium-filled balloons for dessert? Well, you'll have to pop by to find out yourselves! RSVP not required. See you there! The menu has not been revealed, but we do know that Jantung Pisang, is one of the culinary items that will be served. Lina mentions that, "Jantung Pisang is a well known project of Tang Da Wu which started as a workshop which I was lucky to attend. It culminated into an exhibition at The Substation, 1999."
